Assignment Upload File Protection

LifterLMS protects files submitted through assignments. Uploaded files can only be accessed by the student who submitted them and the instructor reviewing the assignment.

The video below demonstrates how protected assignment uploads work.

By default, assignment pages use the /assignment/ URL slug when your WordPress permalink structure is set to Post name.

For example: domain.com/assignment/100

To change the assignment URL slug:

  1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Settings > Permalinks.
  2. Scroll to “LifterLMS Permalinks”.
  3. Find “Assignment Post Type”.
  4. Replace assignment with your preferred slug.
  5. Click Save Changes.

If an assignment page displays a 404 error, return to Settings > Perma
