Will Updating LifterLMS affect my existing courses or memberships?

In general, upgrading LifterLMS will cause no issues with your exiting courses.

We subscribe to semantic versioning which means that major, potentially breaking, changes will be released with a full version number upgrade (eg: 1.5 to 2.0). Minor changes (1.5 to 1.6) will never break your courses.

Please read the changelog before upgrading and always perform backups before updating.
