When you own your own learning platform and host it yourself, it’s better to use a third party virtual meeting tool to host the actual live virtual meeting.

In the next section we discuss how to seamlessly integrate the live virtual meeting into your LifterLMS courses and/or lessons.

But first, it’s important to choose your live virtual meeting third party tool.

Our number one personal recommendation for hosting live virtual class meetings and webinars is Zoom.

Some people choose to use Google Hangouts, YouTube Live, or Facebook Live as well.

Google Hangouts and YouTube Lives can be embedded on your website. Everything else mentioned here is in a separate app or website that would need to open for the live virtual meeting to happen

Integrating your virtual classroom

There are many ways to integrate your live virtual classroom into your LifterLMS course or membership.

The main concern here is to place the meeting access where only enrolled students in a specific course or membership can access it.

If you are using Zoom for example, you have meeting access options that look like this:
