How can I offer courses for sale (presales) before they can be accessed?

Preselling a course is the act of selling a course before the official start date.

This is useful for validating that a course concept will sell before investing the time to create it. It also generally useful for getting sales and enrollments before the start date when the lesson content becomes available.

In the course settings, click on the “Restrictions” tab, enable “Course Time Period” restrictions.

Select a course start date in the future.

Now your course is available for purchase immediately, but the lesson content cannot be accessed until the start date.
